In Memoriam: Bob McCallister, 5/3/1934 – 1/26/2021

Donald R. “Bob” McCallister, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease since 2009, died January 26 in Molalla, Oregon, of natural causes. He was 86. In his career, he built a strong amateur and professional record that included two PGA TOUR wins and two additional international titles. A PGA Professional since 1959, Bob joined the TOUR full time in 1960 after serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He won two PGA Tour events, in 1961 and 1964, and went on to play in the PGA Champions Tour when he turned 50. He held head pro positions in California and at Charbonneau CC in Wilsonville, Oregon (1995-1999).   Read more…
